  • Paul Hemmer Company has recently broken ground on a new $80 million manufacturing facility for Pure Development, an Indianapolis-based commercial real estate developer. The 276,000-square-foot facility in Greenfield, Ind., will be the first U.S. production facility for BeijingWest Industries, Co. Ltd. (BWI), a premier chassis supplier that designs and manufactures brake and suspension systems for the global automotive market.

Hemmer was selected in part due to its expertise in building new facilities to meet the technical demands of today’s advanced manufacturing. Hemmer recently built a state-of- the-art manufacturing facility in Ohio for UGN, a provider of acoustical technologies for the automotive industry. Hemmer has also completed significant projects for other auto parts manufacturers, including Bosch, ADVICS, and ZF Boge.
