Prologis - Etna

Category: Distribution
  • Paul Hemmer Company constructed a 770,000-square-foot industrial distribution center in Prologis Park 70-Etna Industrial Park in the Greater Columbus area.  The center includes approximately 18 acres under roof and is one of the larger structures in the region.

The project involved pre-cast concrete wall panel construction and is cross-docked, allows materials to be unloaded from incoming trucks and loaded directly onto outbound trucks. A white, heat-reflective roof covers the building.

Prologis leased the facility to SpeedFC, a provider of end-to-end e-commerce services. Based in Dallas, its clients include retailers like Justice, J.C. Penney, The Limited, Ulta, Dress Barn and Yankee Candle.

M+A Architects of Columbus was the project architect.  Jobes Henderson & Associates was civil engineer.
