Paul Hemmer Company worked with the hospital and developer in designing and constructing a three-story, 54,000 sq. ft. speculative medical building on the Florence, Kentucky campus of St. Luke Hospital (now St. Elizabeth). Hemmer was selected over multiple contractors that competed for the project. The building was located on an existing campus, and was connected to the hospital through a pedestrian connector to enable patients to access the hospital for services immediately after visiting their doctor. The project also included the reconfiguration of the hospital’s existing parking lots. The design-build team included Viox and Viox and KZF Design.
