Women In Construction Week 2021 | Wrap Up & Interview with Madi Stevens

  • As we wrap up Women in Construction Week 2021, we sat down with Madison Stevens, a construction co-op with Paul Hemmer Company. As a student currently studying Construction Management, we discussed how she got started in construction, her experiences working in commercial versus residential projects, and her advice to other girls looking to get into the construction industry.

    While construction still has a large disparity between men and women, there are some great organizations working to bridge this gap and encourage more people, regardless of gender, to get a foot in the door. Earlier this year, Paul Hemmer Company sponsored a corporate membership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for one of our team members. We are excited to have representation in this organization and to continue to get more involved in our chapter!
