Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager serves as the main customer contact on commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects.  From preconstruction through closeout and warranty the Project Manager has job margin accountability and overall responsibility for project administration and team performance.


1.     Participate in the sales process including estimating, outline specifications and project schedule;

2.     Coordinate the Design-Build process with the architect, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure contract compliance and maintain budget control;

3.     Responsible and accountable for project administration, communications, owner relations, job margin and project communications;

4.     Maintain a thorough understanding of the owner contract and coordinate with field supervision to ensure contract compliance, delivery deadlines, quality, and cost control;

5.     Responsible for job margin, committed and uncommitted costs and contingent liabilities;

6.     Manage subcontractor change orders, shop drawings and contractor coordination meetings;

7.     Develop the project schedule, monitor performance and communicate updates to all parties;

8.     Capability of overseeing multiple projects, make decisions under tight deadlines and manage multiple activities simultaneously;

9.     Establish and maintain a strong relationship with owner, design team, subcontractors and material vendors;

10.  Maintain and expand relationships with current and future clients, architects, consultants and engage in industry, business and community organizations;

11.  Demonstrate leadership and communication skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict.


·         Bachelor of Science in engineering, construction management or compatible major;

·         Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager for a commercial contractor; Industrial/Warehouse experience and

·         Computer skills including proficiency in Job Costing, Project Scheduling, Estimating, Word, Excel and other office programs.
