Project Summary
Paul Hemmer Construction Company built a new warehouse and distribution facility for Pomeroy at Airpark International in Boone County, Kentucky. Designed by KZF Incorporated with civil engineering by Viox and Viox, the building is a large single-story tilt-up concrete warehouse with an integrated two-story office and mezzanine section at the front (west) elevation. The warehouse portion features painted tilt-up concrete panels on all four elevations with aluminum storefront glazing at the office entry, and the roof is a low-slope ballasted/EPDM membrane system draining to interior roof drains. The site, graded from a significantly sloped parcel at Airpark International, provides heavy-duty asphalt truck courts, surface parking, and full utility connections along Aviation Boulevard.
