Building Blocks – April 2016

Manufacturing is woven deep into the fabric of America and it is also deeply rooted in Hemmer’s legacy. Hemmer has been helping clients construct, expand, and renovate their industrial facilities for more than 50 years — putting thousands to work and spanning multiple generations — from the Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers to Generations X, Y and Z!

Since Hemmer constructed its first manufacturing facility, we have witnessed tremendous change in technologies and production methods, not only through its clients’ eyes, but in construction methods. Despite the changes, one thing has remained constant… our hands-on commitment and collaboration.

Hemmer brings personal attention, a hallmark of its culture, to every project. When coupled with our deep knowledge and experience, it helps ensure consistent results that maximize the return on investment for years to come.

Hemmer’s knowledge and reliability is undoubtedly why so many of our customers turn to Hemmer time and time again. Mazak, a world-class leader in the manufacture of advanced technology solutions which employees 750 at its 800,000 s.f. North American Headquarters and Manufacturing Campus, has worked with Hemmer for more than 30 years in multiple states.

“Hemmer’s design and construction team are involved at the very beginning stages of every Mazak new building, expansion or remodeling project, discussing how the building will be utilized and providing us with ideas and suggestions, said Brian Papke, President. “Hemmer has successfully managed Mazak’s projects to meet our expectations, budgets and completion schedules for a successful partnership.”

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND RENOVATION
New facilities are not Hemmer’s only forte.  Hemmer’s approach is contributing to the success of a number of recent renovation projects, including those for GotPrint, Desma and Bosch.

UGN, a world class manufacturer of acoustic, interior trim and thermal management products for the automotive industry recently called Hemmer back after the construction of its 232,200 SF manufacturing plant in Monroe in 2014 to oversee capital improvements to accommodate its growth.

HEMMER APPROACH RESONATES
Hemmer has a history of working with a diverse array of manufacturers of varying sizes that produce a variety of products, and with a multiplicity of international companies, including Germany, France, Japan, England, and elsewhere.
