Notre Dame Academy

Paul Hemmer Company oversaw the completion of Notre Dame Academy’s largest-ever campus expansion, which includes a new performing arts center, new athletic facilities and renovations to existing facilities.  

The improvements and additions to the Notre Dame Academy campus included:

  • New Performing Arts Center:  8,450 sq. ft. performing arts center includes a 400-seat auditorium with an orchestra pit, a deep 80-foot-wide stage, shop for stage sets and props, a catwalk for theater lighting and technical effects, instrument storage, and a 2,500 sq. ft. lobby with art gallery and concession areas.

  • New Athletic Facilities: New athletic facilities include an 8-lane outdoor track; a synthetic turf field for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse and intramural sports; and relocation of tennis courts.

  • Renovations to Existing Facilities:  Renovations to the existing art and music facilities include a new band room, choral room, costume shop, art room and three acoustically prepared practice rooms.  The gymnasium received an annex with new locker rooms, and the strength training room was relocated. The gym was also air-conditioned. Science labs were expanded and language labs upgraded.  Technology improvements were also integrated throughout the classrooms.
