OneNKY Center Tour Builds Excitement in Covington

Sneek Peaks Unite Community at Covington’s new OneNKY Center

It’s not every day that a construction site becomes a hub for community engagement. However, the OneNKY Center project in Covington, KY, is doing just that. Located on the Northern Kentucky riverfront, just five minutes from downtown Cincinnati, the OneNKY Center will house ten local organizations. This project will mark a transformative milestone for business in the region and beyond.

The state-of-the-art, Class-A office facility is nearly complete. Over the past few weeks, Paul Hemmer Company (prime contractor), along with Corporex (developer) , have opened the doors for site tours. These tours have been fun and informative for local leaders, future tenants, and young professionals. They showcase the center’s progress, spark excitement, and foster community pride around Northern Kentucky’s newest collaborative space.

Future Tenants Tour Their New Home

One of the first sneak peek tours took place for the future tenants themselves. On March 11th, staff, board members, and investors from the ten organizations moving into the OneNKY Center this summer gathered for a walkthrough.

As a prime contractor, we were thrilled to help orchestrate this event, giving our soon-to-be occupants a preview of their new home. A standout moment of the tour was hearing the tenants share their plans for their spaces. As we moved through each floor, representatives from the incoming organizations described their vision for offices, conference rooms, and even a dedicated life sciences lab. Seeing the excitement and enthusiasm in their eyes while explaining their ideas made the experience even more special.

These moments highlighted the OneNKY Center’s mission of uniting regional groups under one roof and fostering collaboration among the ten organizations driving Northern Kentucky’s economic growth.

Local Officials Get a Firsthand Look

Paul Hemmer Company recently had the honor of welcoming local government officials for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the OneNKY Center. The event brought together elected officials from the City of Covington, Kenton County, and even representatives from the Kentucky General Assembly.

Walking through the construction site with these community leaders was a rewarding experience. They asked insightful questions and expressed genuine enthusiasm about the impact this development will have on the Northern Kentucky region. At Paul Hemmer Company, it was gratifying to see these public officials recognize the project’s potential – from its prime location at the foot of the Roebling Bridge to its state-of-the-art design.

This visit was a powerful reminder of the strong public-private partnership driving the progress of the OneNKY Center, and we are proud to be a part of it.

Young Professionals Join the Excitement

The excitement surrounding the OneNKY Center isn’t just for tenants and officials – young professionals and the broader business community are also getting in on the action. At a recent NKY Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event, dozens of local professionals donned hard hats for an after-work tour of the latest office building in Covington.

Developed by Corporex and built by Paul Hemmer Company, the event gave Chamber members (and potential future members) an exclusive first look at the space. As we guided the group through concrete floors and framed-out offices, attendees could already envision the vibrant hub taking shape. For many, it was their first time seeing a major construction project up close – and their excitement was contagious! Conversations buzzed about the modern amenities, as well as the unique concept of housing key organizations under one roof. What started as a tour quickly turned into a networking event, with professionals exchanging ideas and business cards against the backdrop of this emerging regional landmark.

Building Pride and Community Engagement

Hosting these tours has been a rewarding way to share our progress and passion with the community. Paul Hemmer Company is proud to be constructing OneNKY Center, a project that is truly by and for Northern Kentucky. Each tour – whether for future occupants, public officials, or curious community members – highlights a common theme: pride in building something special together. We’ve loved seeing the positive reactions and hearing the “wow” moments as visitors step inside the building’s skeleton and picture its future. As construction continues (on track for completion by this summer), we remain committed to keeping the community engaged. The door (or rather, the construction gate) is always open for more opportunities to connect and share updates.

In the meantime, we’ll keep doing what we do best: bringing this highly anticipated vision to life.
