Project Summary

Paul Hemmer Company partnered with KZF Design to transform a 1915 three-story reinforced concrete building in Cincinnati’s Central Business District into the firm’s award-winning corporate headquarters. The 36,000 SF historic office and manufacturing structure was fully renovated and reimagined as a contemporary, sustainable workplace, ultimately achieving LEED Gold and ENERGY STAR certification. While preserving the integrity of the original building, the project introduced modern building systems, advanced technology infrastructure, and an open studio environment designed to foster collaboration and creativity. The result is a high-performance workplace that balances historic character with forward-thinking design.
