The Paul Hemmer Co. has been chosen to build a 770,000-squarefoot industrial distribution facility in Greater Columbus. Built forindustrial real estate developer and owner Prologis, the building willput under roof the equivalent of nearly 18 acres.

ProLogis has picked Paul Hemmer Co. to build a 770,000-square-foot warehouse for SpeedFC. The Fort Mitchell, Ky.-based contractor has put the project on the fast track so it can open this fall, according to a press release. To make deadline, it will use pre-cast concrete wall panels fabricated off-site.

The Paul Hemmer Co. and Messer Financial Services have combined to form BuildingManagement Partners, a new venture with the goal of becoming the region’s leading provider ofbuilding management services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Paul Hemmer Co. andMesser Financial Services have formed anew building management company to serve the Dayton andGreater Cincinnati markets.

KZF Design said Thursday it has moved its headquarters from the Baldwin Building in Walnut Hills to a renovated facility downtown. Construction on the $6.1 million project is under way and on a fast track for spring completion, according to a news release from Hemmer. Hemmer has managed more than 20 construction projects for Mazak, including the construction in 2010 of Mazak’s Southwest Technology Center in Houston.
